OPEN SUBMISSIONS

Hartford’s L.I.T. (Literary Integrated Trailblazers), is a group of local authors, artist, and entrepreneurs from the Hartford area. We have partnered with Hartford Public Library to bring the Hartford Book Festival on May 18, 2019! We are excited about this event and all that it will bring in terms of workshops, panel discussions, local artists, performances and books! In celebration of this event we have opened submissions for our first anthology. 

We are seeking thought provoking poetry and prose that responds to the question, 'how are the children?’ When we were young the news would show a commercial in the evening that asked a simple question that would always stop me and make me think. It's ten o’clock; do you know where your children are? 

Now in 2019, amidst social media and so many different challenges in a technologically advanced world we pose a question of our own.
